Joint CDU / PC operation

Cameras may be jointly operated by both CDU and PC where applications demand the best of both worlds. Users of multiple cameras, or cameras placed in restricted areas, use the CDU to set-up their cameras (adjusting focus, selecting frame and shutter speeds) and set them into the record cycle. The CDU is ‚hot connectable‘ and therefore a single CDU can be used to set-up multiple cameras locally. Once the cameras have been triggered and the test has been completed the user may simply download the video data from each camera via the Ethernet connection with the press of a single button. The CDU makes local set-up quick and easy, and the Ethernet connection allows for quick and reliable remote download.
